I've led quite a life and traveled many places. The latest stop seems to be with two humans who adore me. I wonder if I get to stay here or where I'll get shipped next. In any case, they adore me and you will, too. Bow to me!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my Daddy. He took me in when I was looking for a home and gave me unconditional love and affection. He pets me even when I am being too needy and cradles me every night on the couch while he watches TV. Sometimes he lets me lick the bowl after he eats ice cream. Even though there really isn't much in there, it's the thought that counts. He plays with me and my toys, even though I don't like to share them and will (playfully) growl when he tries to get it from me. He might get mad if I do something naughty, but he never hits me or calls me names. He loves me and I love him. My Daddy. Happy Father's Day.

Playtime with Kitty

Finally, the dampness and gloom of spring seems to have left us and I am excited about summer and being more active and (hopefully) less lazy. Which will mean more blogging! Although spring was not all bad. Mommy and Daddy went away for Easter weekend and I got to stay with Bruno which was really fun. We played a lot and I was really tired by time I went home! Then, grandma and grandpa came to visit and help out with some gardening. Which means that I got to spend a lot of time outdoors and on the couch getting pet.

Last week, my other grandma got a new kitty. She brought her over for a visit and I could hardly contain my excitement. I love to play with kitties and they seem to like me when they are young and fearless, since I usually get overexcited and end up laying on them and squishing them in my arms. But this one didn't seem to mind too much. But boy, was she fast. I spent a lot of time chasing her around:

Fast Kitty

She was a little scared at first but then she got used to me and had no problems batting me on the nose with her tiny little claws. It was so cute. She must have thought that would have stopped me. How funny! But after a while, she got used to having me chase her around and try to cuddle with her:

Fast Friends

But nothing lasts forever. Soon enough, she had to leave and go back to her house (and recover from the ribs I probably bruised from laying on top of her and wrapping my arms around her!). I was sad to see her go:

Bye Bye Kitty

I really hope she comes back to visit soon and that she likes me as much as I like her. Still, it was a little exhausting to run after her, being that I'm mostly a couch potato. But I will rest up and be ready for the next time!
