I've led quite a life and traveled many places. The latest stop seems to be with two humans who adore me. I wonder if I get to stay here or where I'll get shipped next. In any case, they adore me and you will, too. Bow to me!

More fun with Grandma and Grandpa

The grandparents came to visit this past weekend. They said it was pertaining to some doctor's appointment but I know it was really because they missed me and couldn't stand being away from me for so long. The weather was beautiful so we spent a lot of time outside, planting flowers and taking walks. Of course, I made sure that any time indoors was spent petting me as much as possible. I don't think they minded.

I have developed this uncanny knack of knowing when it's time for me to eat. During the week, I usually eat around 6:30 am when Mommy gets up. She used to set her alarm 10 min ahead so she could hit snooze once but now when that sucker goes off, I know that means she's awake so I run over to the bed and jump up and bat her in the face and act all jumpity until she can't take it anymore and has to let me out to poop and then feed me. After that, I'm quite content to go back to sleep while she gets ready for work. Sometimes I'll jump in the bed with Daddy, who usually sleeps through this entire routine. On the weekends, for some reason, she doesn't get up that early so I make sure around 6:30am (or 6:41 recently) that I suddenly wake up and go over to the bed and wake her up. She doesn't seem too excited about it but shouldn't she be grateful that I'm waking her up early so she doesn't sleep the morning away and mess up her sleep patterns? Of course, I don't bother trying to wake Daddy up because he'll just lay there and roll over. I get my dinner at 4:30pm every day and I've also gotten good at knowing when it's time. I'll just sit up and start nuzzling Mommy or acting restless until they feed me. Pretty impressive, especially since I can't read the clock! But the belly always knows when it's time to eat!
