Where Do I Begin?
It all began with my teeth cleaning in October. They shaved my stinkin' leg for the iv. Then they found that tumor which was (thankfully) benign and shaved my other leg for the other iv they gave me for anesthesia when they took the tumor out. Well, of course it started itching when the hair began to grow back. So I had no choice but to lick it. And lick it. And lick it. Mommy and Daddy got worried so they put me back in the dreaded cone for awhile and put antibiotic cream on it. But it didn't get any better so lucky me, I got a trip to the vet's office. I took some steroids but it's still the same. So now I get to put antifungal cream on it and stopped the steroids. The vet sent some cultures and scrapings and noticed that I have some bare spots on my snout, too. If they're all related, I hope it's not something bad. For now, I get to stay in the cone 24/7. Mommy and Daddy tried to be nice and take it off for a bit but I couldn't help myself and of course began to lick at it immediately so now I get to wear it all the time. But I'm used to it now. It doesn't bother me anymore. And if it's raining outside, it's my own personal umbrella. And believe me, it doesn't slow me down. Daddy bought a box of 6 furnace filters yesterday and set them on the floor. While they were gone today, I tore apart 4 of them. Serves them right. Not walking me in the winter and putting me in a cone. They'll think twice next time.
